I am open to new people from different parts of the world. Therefore, I have communication skills that make it easier to make friends. I am passionate about the English language and the culture of English-speaking countries, which makes learning fun. I fully use my organisational skills and reliability when working with my clients.
Additionally, during my studies I am a student representative, where I deal with people from many cultures who entrust me with their opinions and problems. My role is to effectively listen to students and help them solve their worries. I put forward any comments and ideas regarding the course of study in meetings with academic authorities and lecturers. My current position requires me to develop various skills, such as: leadership, negotiation, problem solving, teamwork, active listening to the needs of others, as well as issues in psychology and psychotherapy.
I am currently a tutor of English as a foreign language. I work with asylum-seeking immigrants. My task is to prepare a course outline, create my own learning materials, conduct classes in an atmosphere that enables proper learning, as well as support students during and after classes. Thanks to the opportunity of working with multicultural students, I acquire many skills, such as: adaptation, cooperation, establishing partnership relations, and also creative skills, i.e. triggering creative behaviour, independence and critical thinking. I am characterised by great empathy, pedagogical optimism, high personal culture and professional competence.
I believe that working as a teacher means constantly improving one's qualifications, which is why I attend training courses organised by language and pedagogical publishers and teacher development institutes/centres. During such courses, I acquire many skills, such as: using varied teaching strategies, analysing examination strategies, or therapeutic and cognitive-behavioural skills while working with young people.
